These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the BugOff Pest Control website, enquiries, bookings and services arranged through BugOff Pest Control.

Services

BugOff Pest Control provides pest control services across the Gold Coast for residential and commercial properties. Services may include general pest control, cockroach control, ant control, spider control, rodent control, bed bug treatment, flea treatment, wasp removal, mosquito control, end of lease pest treatment, dead animal removal and commercial pest management.

Services may be carried out by BugOff Pest Control or by licensed pest control technicians operating independently, as contractors or under subcontract arrangements.

Licensed Technicians

All pest control treatments are carried out by appropriately licensed and experienced pest management technicians. Service availability may depend on technician availability, customer location, pest type, property access and booking time.

Same-Day Service and On-Site Attendance

Any reference to same-day service, urgent service, 24/7 service or on-site attendance times is subject to availability.

“On-site in 60 minutes” or similar wording means attendance may be possible in as little as 60 minutes where available. It is not guaranteed for every booking and may depend on technician availability, location, pest type, traffic, weather, booking time, property access and other operational factors.

BugOff Pest Control will always aim to offer the fastest practical appointment available.

Quotes and Pricing

Any prices or quotes provided through the website, by phone, SMS, email, advertising or online form are estimates only unless confirmed in writing.

Final pricing may vary depending on the pest type, level of infestation, property size, access conditions, treatment method and inspection findings.

If the job is different from the information provided at the time of booking, the technician may provide an updated quote before treatment begins.

Bookings and Appointments

Customers must provide accurate information when making a booking, including the pest issue, property type, address, access details and any relevant safety concerns.

BugOff Pest Control may reschedule, adjust or refuse a booking where required due to availability, safety, weather, access issues, incorrect information or service limitations.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must follow any preparation and aftercare instructions provided by BugOff Pest Control or the technician.

This may include securing pets, covering or removing food, clearing treatment areas, providing safe access, moving items where required and keeping children and pets away from treated areas until safe to return.

Failure to follow preparation or aftercare instructions may affect treatment results and any warranty or follow-up eligibility.

Treatment Results

Pest control results can vary depending on the pest type, infestation level, property condition, hygiene, weather, surrounding environment, neighbouring properties, entry points and customer aftercare.

Some pest activity may continue for a period after treatment. Certain pests, including German cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, rodents and heavy infestations, may require follow-up treatments.

Warranty and Follow-Up Treatments

Any warranty or follow-up period only applies where confirmed by BugOff Pest Control or stated on the quote, invoice or service report.

Warranties may not apply where preparation or aftercare instructions were not followed, new pests enter the property, entry points remain open, hygiene or moisture issues continue, neighbouring properties contribute to the problem, or treated areas have been cleaned, renovated or disturbed after treatment.

Service Limitations

Standard pest control services do not include building repairs, plumbing, electrical work, roof repairs, wall cutting, structural work, termite work, waste removal or sealing entry points unless agreed separately in writing.

Dead animal removal depends on safe and practical access. BugOff Pest Control cannot guarantee removal where the animal is located inside inaccessible wall cavities, ceilings, subfloors, ducts, roof voids or structural areas that require building work.

Commercial Services

Commercial pest control services may include inspections, treatments, prevention advice and ongoing pest management plans.

Commercial customers are responsible for maintaining hygiene, safe access, waste management, staff cooperation and compliance with any site-specific safety requirements.

Ongoing commercial pest control arrangements may be subject to separate written terms, service schedules and payment conditions.

Payment

Payment is required as agreed at the time of booking, on completion of service, or as stated on the invoice.

BugOff Pest Control may charge reasonable call-out, cancellation or rescheduling fees where a technician attends but cannot access the property, the customer cancels at short notice, or incorrect information was provided.

Safety

Customers must notify BugOff Pest Control of any known hazards before service, including aggressive pets, unsafe access, asbestos concerns, electrical hazards, illness, restricted areas or site-specific safety requirements.

Technicians may refuse or stop work if the property is unsafe.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights customers may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

Where permitted by law, BugOff Pest Control’s liability is limited to supplying the service again or refunding the cost of the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BugOff Pest Control is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of business, loss of rent, loss of reputation, inconvenience or third-party claims.

BugOff Pest Control is not responsible for damage caused by pests, pre-existing property issues, customer failure to follow instructions, or matters outside the agreed scope of service.

This website may contain links to third-party websites, including Google, social media platforms, booking tools or review platforms. BugOff Pest Control is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.

Intellectual Property
